      So much cross-training, but no pay raise for all the extra work!

      Pros

      Coworkers were awesome to work with, some of the managers were cool, and on good days, the work would go quickly.

      Cons

      Hourly rate stays low even when cross-trained in several different front end areas, management can be somewhat critical, no shortage of negative customers, especially at the service counter, clopening is a regular occurrence.

      You can save a little bit on employee purchases

      Cons

      As a CSR, the fate of your employment is in the hands of people who may or may not be willing to give you information so that Micro Center can send them ads. You can do your absolute best, but it still might not be good enough. Their turnover rate is astronomically high; I only recognize about three people from my tenure whenever I need to get something from them.

      Staff is fun to work with. It's relatively easy.

      Cons

      Management is a mess and you get in trouble for things that are out of your control like theft. Customers can be nasty and demanding but that's retail in general.
