Pros
Very few pros, unless of course you are into micro management, enjoy being publicly called out by execs and/or you are looking for a negative environment in which to work.
Cons
The execs seem to go out of their way to be negative. Whatever growth there is has been achieved via acquisition; there is no reality-based organic growth story. Novell is going to be a ridiculously heavy anchor on a company that is already facing stiff headwinds in COBOL and mainframe related software solutions. Therefore they will resort to their tried and true process - - Riff, cut costs, manage EBITDA, rinse and repeat.
