Pros
I came to work for Microchip because they acquired Micrel, the company I had worked for for 19 years. I was laid off but my impression of Microchip is a good one. The transition team was helpful and very nice and I really liked the new boss I had. They have good benefits.
Cons
I thought that they might be acquiring companies too fast and were unable to complete all aspects of transition smoothly before starting on another.
