Pros
Started my career at Microchip and there was a lot of opportunities to explore different technologies and learn how a large public company operates. After leaving Microchip I worked at startups for several years. Microchip gave me a good perspective on how a stable, public company operates and helped me to better evaluate the leadership at startups.
Cons
Pace and growth was slow (though this could just be because I was there pre-2020)
