      Very stable employment if you are able to get past the acquisition rucus and the layoffs following it

      Cons

      Not a place for an engineer who wants to innovate Projects are quite stagnant Most of the products are coming from acquired companies If you are above average or way below average you will probably not make it in the commotion of view layoffs following an acquisition because this violates the aggregate management theory

      Pros

      Good work-life balance. Good atmosphere. Good management/leadership. Lots of experienced engineers that are willing to take their time and help/teach you. Stable company with good corporate structure. Very transparent leadership. Interesting projects and learning opportunities for new engineers.

      Cons

      Compensation. While the quarterly bonuses and 401k matching are a nice extra, they do not offset the below average base salary. Likewise, the RSUs are a very good package, but they do not translate to cash immediately and you have to work years to accumulate a decent number but this does offset the low base salary. Being an engineer in the NY site but being paid the same salary as the engineers in the AZ site is not fair because the cost of living in NY is significantly higher which makes it very difficult to get by with the low base salary. Likewise, raises dont seem to be very popular and are the bare minimum if given.
