      Pros

      Basically Microchip is a friendly working environment, treats workers as human and respect. Employees are more happy working here in Microchip. Not like Texas Instruments, a hostile working environment and basically employee is like a "tool", used up and thrown away. So, who will you work for?

      Fewer paid leave compares to previous job.

      Pros

      Extremely generous benefits compared to smaller engineering firms I've worked for. Management is friendly and approachable. The CEO eats in the main cafeteria most days.

      Cons

      Cubicles. The culture is casual enough that it doesn't matter, though.

      Great group to work with Good benefits Exciting and engaging work Challenging work to keep engaged in Good incentives Less stress than a previous employer that I had been with 30+ years A short commute!

      Cons

      Not as aggressive in the market as other Semi companies A bit difficult at times to get approvals for capital improvements when needed Salaries are a bit lower than other competitors
