Pros
Microchip is the Walmart of semiconductors. Do not go there to design cutting edge technologies. Instead, you will build older technology that makes money. Expect to be paid 25% than other companies. In exchange, you get to go home at 5pm and not work weekends.
Cons
In the past, they offered no layoffs as a benefit, but that changed in March 2025. Now you get low pay and no gaurantees, so overall not a good deal.
