      Pros

      Good Work Life balance. Good base pay. Good office. Reasonable schedule. Smart managers in my division. Good free lunch sometime.

      Not so advance technology level. Not sure advanced marketing guidance.

      Atmel was OK. Most people there were great!

      Pros

      Most people there were great! Although there will always be exceptions, the esmplyees (in particular at this site, and one other non-US site) were truly this company's best asset.

      Cons

      Atmel management was for the most part OK. But as the years passed, it became more and red tape and harder to actually get good engineering work done.

      People were driven sharp and committed, had great mfg costs, great products, sales team could close the deals, great channels

      Cons

      Management was desperate to get revenue, to prop up the value of the company to get their exit at the expense of everyone else.
