      Great place- Unfortunately all good things come to an end.

      Pros

      Been in Atmel for a little more than two years. Loved the people, loved the VP. Very technical and caring for employees. Good work balance.

      Cons

      Systems sucked. IT infrastructure poor. Offer letter took too long. HR almost non existent. Pay not the best of techs, but work life balance compensated for it. MCHP boasted about an open culture, but from what I saw and continue to hear, that is not true.

      Pros

      Usual work schedule is 3 days on and 4 days off, then alternates with 4 days on and 3 days off. Give plenty of time outside work to do other things.

      Cons

      Working in a bunny suit gets hot but you do get used to after a while.
