      Pros

      Microchip continues to grow both in size and in profitability. The company is financially well run and stable. The product portfolio grows with each acquisition.

      Cons

      Technology-wise the company lags and is uninspiring. While dividends continue to grow, the compensation package has stagnated and is rapidly falling behind.

      Pros

      The benefits are good, medical premiums are very low. ESPP is good as well- can enroll at 1-10% of base salary. The executive staff are extremely friendly and nice. They are also very open and honest about business conditions.

      Cons

      Not many- the training they offer is very beneficial if it is a new career path to you. Good company if you are a New College Graduate. The only con I see is that reviews and salary raises/ promotions are no longer tied together so it can feel as though you are putting in a lot of work without much financial incentive.
