Pros

The company believes in taking care of employments first before anything else. Have diverse culture since the company consists of different people from around the world coming to Thailand.

Cons

Thai people have few english speakers to address people from different locations. Have less opportunity for career advancement since direct supervisors are young and won't leave work yet.

Microchip Technology Response

Thank you for the feedback. Glad to hear that you think Microchip is a good place to work. We recommend that employees review our internal job postings if they are interested in doing different type of work and follow our internal application process. Employees are given first consideration, however they must meet the qualifications for the role. If an employee is interested in learning a new skill in addition to performing their regular job responsibilities, they should speak to their management and/or HR to explore their options. We are committed to the development of our people and do not want to see someone quit and look to be rehired just to advance their skill set. We also practice an open door policy, which means employees are free to discuss their ideas, concerns and interests with HR, their management, upper management and anyone else in a position to help. Thanks again for the feedback! Glad you are part of the team!
