      Microchip is a stable company with good future. Work-life balance is good. Good opportunity for learning and training. Company provides lot of training opportunities. Company culture is good and has a friendly working environment. Executive management is very approachable for everyone

      Cons

      Unable to hire people, thus making it difficult to execute projects as planned. Compensation wise, lags behind the market. You have to be in the right BU to work on newer technology.

      Work life balance, easy job if you want it to be.

      Cons

      Attrition high, low pay, upper management out of touch. Management replacing resigned or retired, experienced engineers with new grads with no experience. Company doesn't do layoffs ever, as a result there is a lot of dead wood. Engaged engineers don't usually stay long.
