Pros

- Good exposure to process flow in semiconductor manufacturing - Supportive colleagues (most of them)

Cons

- Work load distribution is poor, as the work is passed on to the remaining member(s) when your colleagues leave - They do not respect your work life balance (they prefer to term it ‘work life integration’). So, be prepared to be working on your weekends - Too much OT can be harsh on employees’ mental and physical health

Micron Technology Response

Thank you for your candid comments, which highlight the importance of check-ins and responding to team member feedback. As Micron implements Workday, we will transition to a more formal "Check-In" process to ensure consistency and alignment on team members' progress towards their performance and development throughout the year. Micron also encourages open feedback through our bi-annual engagement survey. Part of this process is for teams to review data and create action plans based on TM feedback.

Pros

Progressive views on things like BLM, Asian hate, covid, etc

Cons

Incompetent forecasting that leads to them to cut salaries/promotions despite the Semicon industry/DRAM being hotter than ever. When promotions/salary increases were re-implemented, they cap'd the amounts and didnt give engineers their expected pay increases. Many did not get increases to stay competitive with the economy/other companies
