Lack of any encouragement from leadership for hard work. Little or no communication from leadership. No opportunity for advancement. No pay raises.

There is a network of managers and way too many managers and supervisors. They have a policy of no manager left behind. There have been massive layoffs in the last few years but very rarely has it ever affected managers. They have just added additional layers of management many with only one or two people that report to them. Seems like mostly all management does is cause politics then have to deal with the politics they have created.
