Pros

Overall, MSFT is a great place to work. Love the breadth of products and industries that MSFT pursues. People a generally respectful and smart.

Cons

Working in MSFT Services is one of the most difficult jobs at MSFT. Trying to sell MSFT Services is riduculous. There is a lot of overhead in the organization. Many different teams are trying to create offerings but many of these offerings do not meet market demand and/or are not well put together. The price of MSFT consulting is driven up by this overhead. Services Executives are asked to sell the "value" of MSFT Services and stop complaining about our rates.

Pros

The benefits. Also there is a sense of pride working with one of the biggest IT companies in the world.

Cons

The work there can be successful. Lots of internal competition for raises, bonuses, and promotions within the company. You must have a have a go-getter personality.
