Bear in mind that with Microsoft being large organization with many different divisions and teams, what is written below may not apply to all: - Humble and smart teammates - Empowered to grow - Awesome people and community at the Vancouver office (remote for now) - Scope for impact can be large, given Microsoft's reach in the market - Very manageable workload (as much or as little as you want, within reason) and good regard for life outside work

Cons

- promo can be slow in some orgs - not all orgs are agile/use modern technology, but this is changing rapidly - pay in Canada is decent, but significantly lower compared to companies of similar stature/prestige/performance. You'll be well taken care of, but there are many other companies in Canada with similar pros (e.g. impact, career growth, WLB) but much higher pay
