Pros

ok Salary Some people are great to work with Small revenue sharing Flexibility to work remote as needed

Cons

Where to begin...here we go Zero diversity within the company, this has been going on for a while (see previous reviews)... and no, they don t have an office in Italy or in India like they have claimed to have...the only office where there was some diversity was just closed to move the office to another location...no consideration to the people affected...only 2-4 weeks notice. Initiatives that last as long as the washes cheap t-shirt they give you to celebrate to occasion will last. Too much talk not much action. They just announced they were trying 6 sigma and DFSS...so welcome to the 90s!!! And nothing has been done...same thing for Design for quality where the person in charge is grossly unqualified. Finger pointing is a dayly occurrence that happens at all levels...Engineering and IT VPs talking behind the COOs back who in turn openly lies to the CEO, not hearsay, actually witnessed those. Make sure you have the right last name or you don t mind puckering up...otherwise you will not get ahead. Irvine had no wins on software, but the marketing person in charge of software and his higher up got to stay even though their initiatives did not lead to any wins...name and puckering up. Complete ignorance on internal processes...they haven t begun to understand one when they try to create another one to "replace" it or "improve" it...so basically it s the wild west when it comes to doing things in an organized manner. Training comes down to reading a bunch of procedures that nobody understands but a handful of people so no wonder everyone goes by "that s how we did it the last time". A quality department with unqualified individuals that do not know what the processes are or how a 5Y works...make up things as they go. No confidence on anyone...you have meetings to check on the meeting of the meeting to see status of the meeting...The VPs don t trust the directors who in turn don t trust the managers who have no confidence in the employees...Too many experts who at the end know nothing and end up delaying things so that their fragile ego/word is considered. Too many layers, you have directors with 1 or 2 reports... Last one, they have IT mixed up with software development...IT does not have any idea on what development is so everything is, as mentioned above, do as you feel and improvise things...and then leadership wonders why projects are always late... So based on the above, you might see a theme developing...small company, trying to act big...they kept saying that they needed to get from college to the pros...but you have to get out of high school to get to college...that s where this "company" is...
