Pros

The best part about Midmark is they genuinely care about their employees and take good care of you. The CEO makes an effort to get to know everyone he can. The company offers A LOT of benefits, like work from home days, great insurance, profit sharing, high salaries, training opportunities.

Cons

Because the company is based in Versailles, the lack of diversity is stunning (as is the lack of the need for diversity). Further to that, they are closing the Dayton office so any hope they had for becoming more diverse went out the window. It will be extremely difficult in the future to attract talent from cities, which leads to the biggest problem here - so many people are related. It is crazy how many family members work at this company. If you are not related to anyone, you have a fairly small chance of ever moving up significantly in the company. It also severely limits new, creative ideas when the only people who work at the company are people who grew up in that area and continue to live there.

As Midmark continues to grow and expand, we are moving our headquarters from the University of Dayton River Campus location to Austin Landing in South Dayton, Ohio this fall. We currently employ more than 1,850 teammates worldwide across 12 locations, including India and Italy. We are grateful for this community in the greater Dayton area, and for the teammates who have joined Midmark in Dayton and Versailles as well as our other location in the U.S. and internationally. While our corporate offices will reside in Dayton, we will be expanding our Versailles location, including a new technology center, bringing innovative products and solutions to the market at a faster pace.
