Pros

Lots of money Ability to travel the world, depending on ship assignment

Cons

Mariners are treated like cattle. Company as a whole doesn't seem to have any interest in the mariners. Lots of time away from home. Can be stressful if you have or are trying to start a family.

Pros

Unique mission. Tons of money to be made and great benefits. You'll get to sail around the world and generaly spend a lot of time in port

Cons

The schedule is the only con about this organization. Unfortunately it's a big enough con to make me want to move on. I've averaged 5 months on 1 month off.
