Pros

Free training especially for someone whos never been at sea. Easy to move up since you only have 4 months on 1 month off. Plus you can stay on the ships as long as you want which makes you get more sea days to advance. So yes you can be on a ship for a year or more. People have been on a ship for 3 years or more never been home. Get to serve your country, see the world and be a DoD employee.

Cons

Racists, haters, snitches, favortism, bad food sometimes, no wifi compared to other ships in the union, 2face people, negative nancys, lazy people, cliques, power trippers, bad management, toxic, drama queens
