Management could care less about the employees as humans. someone got in a car accident and my boss's response was "when are you going to come in to make up the hours?"

Run do not walk away from them. They hire tons of consultants who do nothing but criticize. The managers are only managers in name only. There is minimal training. Some staff are questionable in what they say. In most organizations those people would have been fired given it borders on being verbally abusive to other staff.
