      Pros

      MilliporeSigma has a relatively good culture. For a business I think it's very good. The workload isn't crazy at the lower levels, it can be stressful at times but there isn't a lot of undue pressure or crazy deadlines. The management is so-so but almost all internal hires, so there is much opportunity for advancement. Benefits are very good.

      Cons

      Management is so-so, things seem to be actively getting worse but the culture is pretty resistant to bad changes that are being made. The industry as a whole is struggling, so wages and promotions are currently a bit difficult to come by, but not impossible by any means, Pay is overall a bit low.

      Pros

      Millipore was a great company, but everyone is leaving.

      Cons

      They kicked out almost all the US based top leadership and put in mothership robots. So now all the people in charge do not know the industry and certainly do not know how to function with US clients.

      1. Benefits and time off are on par with other similar companies 2. Access to some really exciting technology 3. Lots of tools available to do the job 4. Self-directed individuals will excel

      Cons

      1. Overworked and underpaid for the workload 2. No availability for raises or promotions 3. Annual raises are below the rate of inflation 4. Chronic understaffing with no plans to replace departed employees 5. Massive layoffs that don't consider the critical contributions of employees 6. Acquired employees are excluded from key decisions regarding their work 7. Lack of alignment and direction
