In three plus years in Process Solution Department, there was zero job advancement. Despite asking for additional responsibilities and training to become a more valued resource, it was just a slow boat to nowhere. It was also true for 18-20 years service of Engineers and Scientist with no advancement and has left. Favoritism and special privileges were granted to some while others were discriminated against. The company touts the continuous improvement philosophy, yet still has many processes that are inefficient and fail to invest in the applications and resources that would allow the company to be more successful. Sometimes getting laid off can be a blessing…

COVID made everything crazy: High work load, weird schedules, too many ‘top’ priorities, and high turnover. No work life balance. The Rockville location is run by people who are very passionate about their jobs and didn’t seem to understand that not everyone is a workaholic. Don’t make plans after work, especially if you are doing lab work.
