      Pros

      Used to be a good company when I first started there. Had some good opportunities over the years.

      Cons

      Too many re-orgs in recent years and therefore increasing lack of stability. Difficult to build a consistent career in that environment. Watched positive corporate culture deteriorate over the years.

      Pros

      Millipore was a great company, with extraordinary people. EMD Millipore is not the same company, still good people, but not the same talent.

      Cons

      Too much bureaucracy, too much nva work. Merck KGAA tries to dictate too much. Too much control placed in Germany where they are always on a holiday. All decisions are made in Germany. US workers constantly have to tell vendors "sorry the decision is made in Germany". Makes US wokera look like puppets.
