Parent company Merck KgaA has good reputation. So you can brag about working for Merck KgaA.

Cons

This review is only corresponds to Sheboygan Falls site. 90 percent of the employees are MAGA sympathizers. Middle managers, supervisors and above are bullies and will make your life miserable if you are not listening to their advise. They are very good at manipulating data and if they get caught blame will go to direct reports. Employee turn over is very high.

Stable company and good benefits but pay scale is very low. Very dated thought process and lab equipments

Cons

Most managers work remotely and dedicate projects without adequate support and guidance and some projects lingers for years with no end in sight. Merital promotions are hard to come by for years and qualified and talented employees eventually leave the company. There is no plan in place to retain talented employees. There is a lots of favorism amongst management
