Pros

-discount on Milwaukee Tools, Ryobi, and Hoover -cheap options for health insurance

Cons

-no training whatsoever. It's a complete joke. They have a training outline they show you, yet never followed it. -lots of backstabbing and snakes at this company, everyone is very much out for themselves. -no profit sharing -vaction/pto/floating holiday time is very underwhelming. For as big of a company as Milwaukee is, you would think they would be more generous. -no support whatsoever on off shifts. If you don't work 1st shift they don't care what happens, but blame you whenever anything goes wrong. -off shifts have NO engineers or maintenance workers on staff, yet are still expected to achieve unrealistic production goals -management is incompetent and only care about short terms goals, rather than looking at the bigger picture -the burnout is real here, when overtime is mandatory you will work 8 hour Saturdays -garbage temp workers. Fights, theft, on the job drug use, and stealing time is not uncommon to see here, yet management turns a blind eye because they can't find people to fill production roles

Pros

-Great company culture. -Young and fun group of employees. -Challenging and rewarding projects. -Important work, not a lot of busy-work.

Cons

-Every employee that is even remotely valuable to the company is expected to forgo work life balance for the success of the company as a whole. -The entire design team is wildly underpaid compared to similar roles at other companies. Anytime this issue is brought up to management, they will tell you that you should be happy to have job security, and that other companies don't have as much job security or culture, and that you should be content with your compensation. -Over the course of a year, we were required to move into an office that was still under construction, and deal with very loud construction noises all day long. As soon as our floor was finished, we were given three days notice that we all needed to move up a floor and deal with the construction again. We also lost our employee purchase discount, cafeteria, and gym. These are all amenities that were offered as part of the job initially, and were then stripped from us with no additional compensation. I understand that moving buildings is difficult, but this could have been handled much better. -Upper management seems to ignore inflation completely, except for when it comes to the price points of our products. Total inflation in 2022 ranged from 6%-9%, while the yearly pay increases ranged from 3%-6%. This means that a majority of employees hired before 2022 actually took a pay cut this year, not to mention the loss of amenities. Compensation desperately needs to be updated before more talented employees leave the company. Lack of compensation is the #1 reason why people leave this company.
