What a wonderful place to work

Pros

Where to start? The people are wonderful, the culture is great and the flexibility they give you with regards to working from home or being in the office is icing on the cake. In my 15 years of being in workforce I have yet to experience a work environment like this one. Top it all off with just enough, but not too much supervision for self-starter individuals and you got a winner.

Cons

None that I have encountered just yet.

Great Company, Bad Salary

Pros

I love the company, and I enjoy the work I do. I like the benefits. The perks are nice too: not having to go to an office is amazing. And the people that I work with on a daily basis are great.

Cons

Pay. I’m making 60% of the average US salary for my position according to Glassdoor. The last two years the maximum salary increases that Mindera will allow have been set to values less than inflation, so every employee us actually making less every year.

Pros

There's an abundance of knowledgeable individuals with interests spanning a broad spectrum of technologies. Rarely is there a question I can't get an answer to within the organization. The engineering teams are keenly focused on improving the status quo, whether its code delivery, code quality or development life cycles. I can appreciate the wealth of experience that surrounds me at Mindera.

Cons

I’ll update my post when if I discover any negatives but, at the moment, its smooth sailing.
