Cannot recommend this toxic work environment

Pros

Opportunity to work on exciting and high-profile projects • Exposure to various industries and clients • Fast-paced environment that can accelerate learning • Some talented and hardworking colleagues

Cons

Disposable Workforce Mentality: Leadership operates under the belief that everyone is replaceable. If you raise concerns or don’t fall in line, they’re more interested in replacing you than resolving issues. • Cost Over Quality Approach: The company consistently prioritizes doing everything as cheaply as possible, regardless of whether it’s the right solution for the client. Corners are cut, and employees are expected to pick up the slack. • Overpromising & Underdelivering: The company routinely sells services far beyond its actual capabilities, leaving employees scrambling to make it work with insufficient resources and support. • Toxic Culture & Low Morale: Leadership talks about employee engagement, but in reality, people are burned out and unhappy. The high turnover rate reflects how employees feel. • Pay Discrepancies: The company bills clients at premium rates (far below industry standards), yet employees are underpaid compared to competitors. Poor Benefits & Cost-Cutting Measures: During my time there, the 401(k) benefit was cut, and it’s clear that the business is not being operated well—leading to more corner-cutting in an attempt to stay ahead. The health insurance is subpar, making it hard for employees to access good care. • HR Is Useless: If you have a problem, don’t expect HR to help. They seem more focused on protecting leadership than addressing legitimate concerns. • Office Politics Over Performance: Success here isn’t about doing good work—it’s about playing the game. If you’re not navigating the internal politics correctly, you’re expendable. Raises & Bonuses Are a Joke: If you’re new here, do not expect a raise or any real recognition anytime soon. Raises are rare, and when they do happen, they are insignificant. The bonuses are meager, making it clear that employees are not valued.
