Pros

Working outpatient with no call.

Cons

HCA bought out mission hospital a few years back. I only joined 1.5 years ago, but I've heard nothing but complaints from employees and patients about the steady decline of quality. Since starting, more job requirements and responsibilities have been added (that weren't in my original contract). When I requested a raise to compensate, they denied me. The pay is well below market value and cost of living. Their annual "raise" is only 2% for every employee despite performance level.

It's a solid job. It's Healthcare; Healthcare is ever changing. You have to learn to roll with the punches.

Cons

Everything in life has room for improvement. There are always challenges in any aspect of life. You have to adjust to those challenges to help things run smoothly.
