Pros

The faculty here is excellent. The leading professors take time to help you with lab problems on a one on one basis and the laboratory environment is phenomenal.

Cons

Missouri State University has a rather low cap on how much salary a graduate student assistant can earn and they say they make up for the low wage by paying for tuition.

Pros

Great perks like lots of paid holidays and time off. The Health coverage is completely covered and there is an on-sight clinic available on the Springfield campus.

Cons

Little chance of upward movement and professional development at least in my department. Not much in the way of wage raises.
