      Pros

      Academic freedom to revise and create lesson plans and syllabi as you deem fit. Decent small campus.

      Cons

      Apathy amongst faculty. Students behave like they're still in high school. Department heads lack management skills and therefore micromanage versus placing trust in faculty with more expertise in a given discipline.

      Pros

      Great atmosphere and truly felt like the university was back on track after a few missteps selecting a president. I was always treated with care and respect.

      Cons

      Dealing with the bureaucracy was a bit challenging sometimes. Of course, what can you expect with so many federal rules and regs out there.
