      Pros

      Gained experience teaching and got to help students pursue a career I love.

      Cons

      Only minimal support from other faculty in the department. Now require a master degree for adjunct so wasn't able to continue teaching.

      it's a good place to work, it is reasonably safe and there's lots of campus development going on to make it look more attractive.

      Cons

      the city of springfield is not an easy place to live in if you're a minority.
