MSU is a great place to work!

Pros

Holidays are off. The campus is beautiful and the use of the rec center is a great perk. No matter which department you work in, all MSU staff is very welcoming. MSU allows you to grow in your field with continuous training and thinking of ways to make the student body successful.

Cons

Probably the worst thing at MSU is the parking, it pays to get an administrator pass so you don't have to fight for a spot in the morning.

Pros

Lots of perks-extensive amount of vacation, time off between Christmas and New Years that you are off but don't apply to your vacation time. Health clinic on campus. A sense of community and energy. Tuition credit.

Cons

Compensation is low. Can be political at times with office drama that is allowed to fester. It kind of depends on the department, though.
