Pros

Some people are helpful - huge amount of legacy technology + some new technology as well. Lots of things to work on - never a dull moment. People are willing to help if you are in a good group of people.

Cons

Not great for people starting their career. No mentorship - most of the product I was working on was shipped off to India. Very micro managerial. Favoritism everywhere - so if you have a good manager you are good.

Some people were great in helping learn the product/stack Lots of different technology in the Microsoft Stack (get to have exposure to that)

Cons

Software teams moving offshore (India) - depends on who heads the department Not great for entry level developers - unless you want to suffer
