Good people, archaic tools

Pros

This is a genuinely good company with a lot of really great folks. Some of the software they are currently developing is cutting edge.

Cons

Unfortunately, you may end up working for a supervisor who refuses to adopt modern documentation tools that support single sourcing. So it’s a great place to work if you’re a proponent of the copy / paste school of tech writing.

Very good salary and benefits packages; pleasant work environment; management is very supportive of educational and career advancement opportunities; option to work 9/80 schedule; supportive of work/life balance; diverse multinational work force

Cons

Distracting open office environment; lack of processes can seem chaotic at times; almost zero flexibility regarding telecommuting (highly discouraged); high growth without plan for physical expansion has lead to recent crowding
