People are very partners and help one an others. Among the functionaries is a good vibe of work. They have big clients.

Cons

Fail management of the owners. There ins't professional development, hard growth opportunity.

Come for the art, stay for the coworkers

Pros

Outstanding exhibitions and programs, the best collection in the world, really awesome coworkers. Other museums pale in comparison. I was lucky to have several positions over the years (though that isn't always the case).

Cons

Staff can be overloaded with work. Promotions aren't handled fairly. Inept managers have a deathgrip on their jobs.
