Pros

They have a very small, close corporate culture. Very easy to know everyone on your floor and is very easy going. They host plenty of events to increase employee morale.

Cons

I doubt there are many opportunities for advancement here. There is definitely a ceiling on how high you can go in the company.

Plant culture is family like. Employees have long tenure. Depending on position, pay is equitable. Exempts still not getting 401k match.

Cons

Managements view of Machavellian view of themselves and employees. Private Equity (Apollo) ownership (cash not profits b/c profits = taxes).

Pros

Huge amount of Capital equipment at this location, strong employee knowledge base. Grandfathered in on some local permits necessary for what they produce. This facility is a potential gold mine. With some investment and proper leadership, no place could be more profitable.

Cons

Living off the coat tails of past employees. If they were any thinner up front, they would not exist. Most employees, management or production, are continually asked to give more and more and more. badly falling behind in technology.
