Pros

Great co-workers, everyday they do what they can to help one succeed. base is decent for this time in the economy but still low for industry standards. lose work environment biz casual. drinking and swearing at work not a big deal. Easy going people, thats really the only part of the job I liked.

Cons

Main con has got to be the managers, if you read the real post that have 1 star, those are the ones you need to read. Because it is the truth. I have been working their for 4 months and have seen constant bs from managers. They will talk behind your back none stop, it is gossip hour for the Chicago office. Also these manager are the ones writing all the 5 star reviews, with a couple of them trying to point a single person out for writing a honest review on how life really is at Mondo. What ever they tell you during the interview process know its a lie or else you will be in for hell your first couple of months. Also once you finally make a sell it can take up to 90 days before you see a commission check which is only 4% of the deal. You would think all these 5 star reviews that say they are "fast" growing then there would be money in the bank to pay your sells reps and recruiters that work just as hard and takes just as long for them to get paid as well. But this is the way it has been done since I've been here and from talking to co-workers it has been like that for a while. well I say a while the longest employees in office has been here less than a year. Also no one I know has been promoted in the company. Horrible training too, learn as you go kind of company. IF you work here you will see the turn over at a rapid pace, my advice stay away!!!

Pros

People work hard and collaborate - performance expectations are really high which motivates me to do my best. Good benefits. Industry leader. Fun culture: events, office snacks/drinks, recognition program, etc.

Cons

With so much growth, there is opportunity for improvement in the way projects are organized and prioritized - the goal setting and performance management program seems to be helping with this!

Pros

A company focused on growth and progress in a fast-paced environment that will help you develop hard skill. However, there are a lot of companies out there that provide this same benefit without the scare-tactics, unreasonable pressure and ungodly politics within this organization, which will make you hate your job and probably life.

Cons

The average tenure at mondo is only a few months. There's a very good reason for this - in fact, there are many. It's not people who didn't try hard enough, or weren't cut out for the job. The guise of a fast-paced, active growing organization is a facade to cover up one that is riddled with unreasonable expectations, cringe-worthy passive-aggressive management power struggles, a disconnected CEO who turns a blind eye to awful treatment of workers by managers, and a business model that consists of an inefficient process of pumping out calls/email to HR people to boil the ocean to a few clients who are later disappointed because their needs are not fulfilled due to under-trained recruiters that know nothing about the industries they resource for. In effect, the business is a one stop shop that spins it's wheels to add on new clients because they don't retain the old ones. Too much turnover and under qualified staff wreaks havoc on the cornerstone of this kind of business: fulfilling the clients' needs. There's a distinct difference between a fast paced environment and sink or swim. Furthermore, I'd like to confirm most of the positive reviews are in fact fake by employees who create them under scare tactics, myself included. Notice how every positive review follows a negative one and directly references the negativities specified. Someone says management in Dallas sucks (it does), then one follows that says management is tough but fair (it's not). Many reviews talk of great benefits as they will to you. Fun fact! Virtually all of the attractive perks don't kick in until 3+ years at the organization which only a few people have reached and they're all VPs. You'll find out about the tenure requirements for these perks... after you start. Hold out for an offer from an established organization - if Mondo is considering you, you'll get one. The only thing worse than the Mondo working environment is the outlook for the business, which is now struggling to stay afloat, cutting corners left and right - let alone achieve 40% yoy growth. Stay tuned for the 4-5 star rating to immediately follow this one which will iron out all of the above with fluff.
