Pros

-You’ll leave mondo a better recruiter than when you came in. -see above and get out asap

Cons

-micromanagement even if you are doing well - shame for taking PTO -no work life balance (expect pings after hours regularly and even on the weekends) - commission package is horrible compared to most other agencies - leadership is out of touch - unethical business moves - can’t submit somebody forward unless they can accept same day (essentially being forceful and backing candidates into a wall) - the list goes on and on

Pros

Remote work, some supportive colleagues

Cons

Unethical hiring practices – They bring in recruiters under false pretenses, only to fire them before they’ve had a fair chance to succeed. Unrealistic expectations – No real ramp-up period, yet they expect immediate results. Lack of job security – High turnover, with employees being let go quickly if they don’t hit aggressive metrics. Restrictive staffing policies – Blocks strong candidates from opportunities for arbitrary reasons, making it hard to do the job ethically. Profit over people – Prioritizes short-term revenue instead of building long-term client and candidate relationships. Minimal support from leadership – Management pushes numbers but doesn't offer real training or mentorship. Toxic work culture – High pressure, little job stability, and a sense that everyone is replaceable. Micromanagement – Leadership focuses on metrics rather than employee development. Inconsistent processes – Internal procedures are convoluted, making it harder to be effective. Poor commission structure – Recruiters don’t earn commission on many hires, making it difficult to actually benefit from placements.
