Pros

- If you do well here, you can make really good money. Be wary there are only about 1 or 2 reps in each office who are actually making the kind of money they say you can though - You are eligible for a free trip if the spring if you are a top performer. - You get paid to talk to people, literally. - Most successful reps are able to leave Mondo for really reputable companies and go on to have very successful sales or recruiting careers in other industries. It's a good place to start your career.

Cons

I am surprised by all of these 5 star reviews- but as you'll notice, most of them are from consultants, not actual internal employees. These consultants never actually step foot in the office so they really aren't reviewing Mondo. - Extremely unprofessional and abusive management style: constant, daily emails swearing at you and being told you aren't good enough - They claim you have unlimited vacation, but its frowned upon to even ask for 1 day. Good luck actually even getting 2 days off in a row, nevermind a whole week. I saw people get denied to go to doctors appointments while there. - Hours are 7:30 am-630 pm.. they say you can leave at 6 but you will get judged if you do, and most people stay past 7 pm. There is ZERO work life balance. - Expected to be a slave to your email/phone. If your boss calls you at 11 pm, or on a weekend, you are expected to respond. You are also expected to respond to motivational emails on Sundays "pumping everyone up" for the week. - Upper management has never worked anywhere but Mondo- all the way up to the ceo. None of them have any real life experience or new ideas because of this. - No actual training program- if you've never worked in sales, you will probably fail. Training consists of watching a few videos they created, then learning as you go. If your manager is busy helping others close deals (which is almost always the case), you won't have any help other than who is sitting next to you. - Most of the major clients Mondo used to have no longer work with them because they are so agressive and have ripped up their contracts, making it very tough to constantly have to find new business - Average tenure is only 3-6 months for recruiters and account directors, a TON of turnover - They have opened 2 offices in different states in the past three years that have both failed, and have CLOSED. This is a huge red flag that they cannot identify the right business opportunities.

Pros

- nice office - young, friendly coworkers - fun office environment

Cons

- extremely micromanaged - unrealistic hours (10+ hours required daily) - terrible leads, get cycled between AD's with little to no progress - management over-exaggerates continuously (to employees and clients), encourages deliberate lying to book meetings (beyond the usual sales techniques to a truly unethical level) - ridiculously high turnover rate (though often lied about)...I saw close to 10 sales reps quit in the 2 months I worked in the NYC office Having worked many sales jobs in the past, I came in expecting to cold call, generate leads, and work hard for the first few months. Within a few weeks, however, it was obvious that the hype around Mondo was exaggerated to employees and clients alike. Mgmt trained us specifically to lie while cold calling/emailing in order to get clients to meet with us, sent false contracts with the intent to later correct to higher commissions once the deal was in place, etc....While I loved many of my coworkers, I cannot recommend Mondo or its management practices to anyone with a conscience.
