Pros

Let me first preface this review with a little background about my experience. I have 9 years of professional experience, with 3.5 years at Mondo and 6 years total in recruiting. I have seen what else is out there, and am rejoining Mondo because it provides so much that large enterprise companies, other agencies, and traditional career paths just cannot offer. -True Financial Freedom: I went from making entry-level salaries 3-4 years out of college, struggling to find a career path that offered the financial stability, mentorship, and growth I was looking for... to no longer needing to have a monthly budget, in less than a year. I made well over 6 figures, and with unlimited commission, and had the opportunity to make much, much more. Mondo gave me the ability to pay off my student loans, buy a home, become the breadwinner in my family, and afford the wedding of my dreams (and more). Their compensation structure is one of the most competitive in the industry. You have control over how hard you work, how many placements you make, and ultimately how much you earn. -Impactful Professional and Personal Development: Mondo offers much more than surface level, company-wide trainings. The core values (mentality, accountability, and process) are actually a huge part of any role at Mondo. You're given clear training and expectations, tools to analyze your strengths/weaknesses and resources to be your best self, both as a human being and an employee. The company also hosts virtual events with successful business leaders and motivational speakers a few times a year. -Culture: I made some of my friends for life at Mondo, and even referred my best friends from college to join the company. There is a very unique level of camaraderie I haven't seen anywhere else, and your success (and your team's) is celebrated often. This job is FUN.... it's a blast to work together to make quality placements, provide top notch candidate and client experiences, and hit your goals as a team. And top performers are rewarded with a trip to President's Club each year, hosted at a tropical destination! -Growth & Leadership: You'll have the opportunity to learn from the very best in the business. There is a path for everyone, whether you are interested in sales, recruiting, management, individual contribution, training, sales ops, etc. You can create your own trajectory and fulfill whatever professional and personal goals you have if you come in with the right mindset, follow the process, and hold yourself accountable. Mondo has ~200 employees, so you will get very personalized mentoring and training that just doesn't typically exist in large, enterprise organizations. -Work Life Balance: I did not have to work 60+ hours a week to achieve success. As with starting any new job, of course I put in more hours to learn the ropes. But once I was ramped up, I was working 40-45 hrs a week... it was very manageable. - Fully remote: So many companies (especially in staffing) are pushing on-site or a hybrid environment. Mondo offers fully remote positions, but with the opportunity to meet up locally with your team for happy hours, team dinners, etc. In short, Mondo offers so much to incoming hires (and employees that come back), even if you have absolutely no experience in staffing. You can learn a LOT about recruiting in a very short time and build a network of great coworkers who become dear friends. Most importantly, you can build the career and life you have been dreaming about.

Cons

It doesn't matter if you come in as a Recruiter or a Sales Rep, staffing is a metrics-driven environment and can be a grind. You will need to put the work in to see the rewards. This is not a job where you work 4 hours a day and collect a paycheck. You will challenged to be your best self, but I promise you it is worth it!

Pros

Great training and this job really prepares you to be a very successful recruiter. You also make great friends here

Cons

Culture- Mondo is work hard play hard company that will eat you alive. Your worth is 100% performance based and you will be expected to work late hours to get candidates for whatever position is closing the soonest. This could mean weekend work or recruiting all hours of the night. This is a no excuses culture where you deliver or you will be scolded for it. No in between. Mondo is also a cult by definition. People worship the "fearless leader" by kissing her feet and admiring her every move. You will not move up in the company if you are not in close with the "fearless leader" Commission plan- This is the worst commission plan I have ever seen in the business. Unless you get the candidate to a very low pay rate, you most likely will be receiving 0 commission. Yes you heard that right. Most deals are "tier 2 or tier 3" which means commission is docked based on having insane margins to try and hit to make any money. Also, most deals are at the T2 or T3 margin where nobody besides Mondo makes any money. You have to bring in at least $1 million in revenue to even sniff 100k in total comp. Micromanagement- Mondo takes micromanagement to a whole new level. When you finish your morning meeting at 9am, you will be pinged literally every 30 minutes asking where the candidates are. You will spend more time defending yourself for not delivering than actually having any time to do your job and find candidates. Back to the no excuses mentality...when you dont have candidates by 10am, your manager will just tell you to work harder or get gritty. They provide no other help or strategy other than scare tactics. You will also have some sort of manager or lead on basically every single call you have with candidates or clients. My favorite part of the job is when you literally have to hardball all candidates into accepting an offer the same day and if not, be ready for an anxiety filled night, afternoon or weekend. You will be forced to find a "replacement" who can accept the same day and it is your job to make it happen. If not then you let the whole team down. Work/life balance- This is staffing so we all know this is not a standard 40 hour work week. Mondo takes it to a whole new level. Like I said above, you will be forced to work long hours and usually for no benefit since there wont be commission attached to the deal. You will also be stressed out every single day and find less joy in life knowing 1 little thing can cause mgmt to berate you for even the slightest candidate issue Benefits- If you have a child or spouse that needs covered, have fun paying a boatload of money for very minimal coverage
