Pros
Let me first preface this review with a little background about my experience. I have 9 years of professional experience, with 3.5 years at Mondo and 6 years total in recruiting. I have seen what else is out there, and am rejoining Mondo because it provides so much that large enterprise companies, other agencies, and traditional career paths just cannot offer. -True Financial Freedom: I went from making entry-level salaries 3-4 years out of college, struggling to find a career path that offered the financial stability, mentorship, and growth I was looking for... to no longer needing to have a monthly budget, in less than a year. I made well over 6 figures, and with unlimited commission, and had the opportunity to make much, much more. Mondo gave me the ability to pay off my student loans, buy a home, become the breadwinner in my family, and afford the wedding of my dreams (and more). Their compensation structure is one of the most competitive in the industry. You have control over how hard you work, how many placements you make, and ultimately how much you earn. -Impactful Professional and Personal Development: Mondo offers much more than surface level, company-wide trainings. The core values (mentality, accountability, and process) are actually a huge part of any role at Mondo. You're given clear training and expectations, tools to analyze your strengths/weaknesses and resources to be your best self, both as a human being and an employee. The company also hosts virtual events with successful business leaders and motivational speakers a few times a year. -Culture: I made some of my friends for life at Mondo, and even referred my best friends from college to join the company. There is a very unique level of camaraderie I haven't seen anywhere else, and your success (and your team's) is celebrated often. This job is FUN.... it's a blast to work together to make quality placements, provide top notch candidate and client experiences, and hit your goals as a team. And top performers are rewarded with a trip to President's Club each year, hosted at a tropical destination! -Growth & Leadership: You'll have the opportunity to learn from the very best in the business. There is a path for everyone, whether you are interested in sales, recruiting, management, individual contribution, training, sales ops, etc. You can create your own trajectory and fulfill whatever professional and personal goals you have if you come in with the right mindset, follow the process, and hold yourself accountable. Mondo has ~200 employees, so you will get very personalized mentoring and training that just doesn't typically exist in large, enterprise organizations. -Work Life Balance: I did not have to work 60+ hours a week to achieve success. As with starting any new job, of course I put in more hours to learn the ropes. But once I was ramped up, I was working 40-45 hrs a week... it was very manageable. - Fully remote: So many companies (especially in staffing) are pushing on-site or a hybrid environment. Mondo offers fully remote positions, but with the opportunity to meet up locally with your team for happy hours, team dinners, etc. In short, Mondo offers so much to incoming hires (and employees that come back), even if you have absolutely no experience in staffing. You can learn a LOT about recruiting in a very short time and build a network of great coworkers who become dear friends. Most importantly, you can build the career and life you have been dreaming about.
Cons
It doesn't matter if you come in as a Recruiter or a Sales Rep, staffing is a metrics-driven environment and can be a grind. You will need to put the work in to see the rewards. This is not a job where you work 4 hours a day and collect a paycheck. You will challenged to be your best self, but I promise you it is worth it!
