      Pros

      Huge addressable market makes for high velocity sales motions. Everything runs on a database. Never shut out of an account. Companies are very open to better technologies than the incumbents. MongoDB has fantastic product market fit and product works very well.

      Cons

      Put a model in to prevent abuse of community version. Put better alignment between product management and sales to help with large customers.

      Pros

      -Free lunch twice a week -Low deductibles in the US for benefits -Fully stocked kitchen -Exposure to senior leadership -Good product with high growth opportunity -Lots of employee events to build a sense of community

      Cons

      -Lots of politics (I would say more so than other NYC companies) -Lack of diversity in leadership (especially at the exec level) -Not a culture of development (there is no patience for development, if you aren't cutting it you get the boot) -No real feedback process(there is no formal talent review process which it makes it difficult to assess where you are at)

      Solid product and a very fine team of people

      Cons

      Hostile environment for the promising sales professional and although my confidence took a dent, I have been successful since my departure and happier to sell a more tangible product. Overall, a bruising and humiliating experience.
