      Pros

      You'll be asked to do things you haven't done before, thus helping you grow professionally.

      Cons

      Company is growing pretty rapidly and unfortunately when this happens culture can sometimes be compromised. In my opinion, this hasn't been an issue yet but is definitely something to be mindful of.

      Pros

      great culture. not very hierarchal. good work life balance. hiring a lot of people and growing very fast. Very smart people work at the company.

      Cons

      more uptight than some tech firms. unlike some tech startups where there are kegs and fooseball tables, 10gen has a slightly more rigid culture.

      Pros

      Employees get to work on whatever they want in the context of MongoDB and make it open source. Incredible engineering team that is based in New York City. The opportunity to make a dent in the universe by changing the way people think about building applications and working with data.

      Company business model based on services rather than products.
