      Pros

      There are pockets of incredibly talented people who deliver amazing work. US employees are still remote, which offers a lot of flexibility. There's some interesting thought leadership.

      Cons

      .Monks has just been wildly disorganized and lacking direction. They wanted to go to market as a unified brand, operated as a holdco so got the worst of both worlds. Lack of clarity on when legacy companies where operating independently vs. contributing to larger teams. Multiple brand name changes on top of all that.

      Pros

      Understanding management Ability to grow into other roles Plenty of A-list brands to put on your resume Benefits are amazing. I haven't had out of pocket medical expenses since joining. Work from home. Competent coworkers.

      Cons

      Raises. They only happen once a year. If you get moved around, your new manager may not have the details to put you up for a raise. The company itself isn't doing well from a profit standpoint. Not awful, but not great, Adds stress on how long you'll be there.
