      Massive Layoff in 2024

      Pros

      Good people, smart minds, great to learn and develop knowledge around expert in the market, great projects if you are luck to be into a good one.

      Cons

      Executive are clueless, at best are able to use Excel , no expertise in the high ups, they view people as Resource unit, Some executive donor have holds of their emotions. No vision in this company other then change it every 3 months

      Pros

      Remote work, great benefits, unlimited PTO, amazing accounts and clients

      Cons

      - Layoffs seem to happen every pay period with no notice or transparency. You won't realize someone on your team has been laid off until you suddenly notice that they've been deactivated on Slack. Communication from upper management has been extremely poor. - They will stretch you across multiple accounts and not let you have enough time to dedicate to each client. - Weirdly supportive of AI tools. They laid off a ton of designers and in the same week encouraged mandatory AI training, appearing very tone deaf and lacking in empathy.

      - My own department is some of the best in the business - Middle management cares about the people and tries their best not to burn them out despite how this industry treats talented and creative developers

      Cons

      - Upper management's decisions bring down the company. - Doesn't address issues directly and isn't fully transparent staffing changes - Pay could be better
