      Terrible place to work

      Pros

      Free pension and full sick pay.

      Cons

      Team leaders dont know their jobs and how others do theirs so can not lead. Managers dont know the rules and make their own up to suit. Very ameteur people with no previous knowledge in some cases of the job in hand. The three people i worked with were not apprentice trained so did not have the required skills to complete the tasks properly even at the level of not being able to read engineering drawings.

      Pros

      To be fair they changed very little for us on a day to day level. We were liked by them and at first it seemed like it was good news. They have a very forward approach and a keen interest in efficiency through Kaizen. My experience is in a company at one of the small companies at the end of one of the group chains and it looks like I have a lot more negative to say than positive, I dare say in a more upbeat economy and closer to the home base things could be a lot better.

      Cons

      I had the impression that their interest was only skin deep and only motivated by the money we could bring to the Moog pot which is fair enough. Our company had been very progressive, my first impression was of people working together well, all for the good of the company, almost a campus feel. This soon changed though, I joined at a time of change and the company soon changed to the usual top-down grind that we're all used to. Everyone at the top was keen to trade on the old reputation and Moog just carried on with this, ignoring any rumblings.
