Pros

They paid well. I received a good severance package. The insurance and benefits were very good. My coworkers were easy to work with.

Cons

They fired their employees unprofessionally... shock value. The management were not well informed of the situation of the company and telling their employees what they thought they wanted to hear.

Pros

-Good, family friendly atmosphere -Decent start pay (hourly) -Medical is freaking awesome. I'm paying $49 every two weeks with a dependent for the basic package, which is pretty well spread. $20 co-pays, $150 emergency room, and very good beyond that, but our situation is simple. -Tuition reimbursement ($5200 per year, payouts depend on the HR rep's mood or cognitive ability at the time). -Good chance of promotion for hourly employees, if you meet the well-established guidelines.

Cons

-Very little chance of promotion from hourly to salary, regardless of experience or education. The saying goes here "If you want to get ahead, you need to leave and come back".

Pros

The people. Most truly do what they can to follow directions and perform to expectations that are sporadic at best. Pay and benefits are great.

Cons

Changes in ownership changed the focus and started a decent backwards to old style management directions. After new management was in place most older employees have been released to make way for the changes that were suppose to improve the site's performance. Now outsourcing has become the new solution, workloads on managers have been doubled, and the employees are left wondering how long they can have jobs there.
