      Moog is OK as a place of employment; not clearly above the rest in the industry, but certainly not one of the worst.

      Pros

      Good benefits, with decent choice of health care plans. Working in a project team environment allows one to form good bonds with a team of people.

      Cons

      Top management seems to be in a transition phase, so rating the company culture is difficult. Training for new assignments could use work. Being in the defense industry, Moog is subject to the ebb and flow of Government funding.

      Good people, Good Culture, Good product, but going in poor direction

      Pros

      the people are fantastic, they have a great culture, and i enjoyed going to work every day. the products are exciting and cool and the experience you gain is invaluable. there is a wide variety of challenging problems that you are exposed to across multiple disciplines. the benefit package is hard to beat.

      Cons

      Moog has always been built upon their culture and how great it is to work there. however, over the last 5-6 years i had noticed some changes that are straying away from the core values that they held for so many years. it can most likely be attributed to the change of management and the new CEO philosophy. also pay slightly lower base salaries than most. hard to be promoted/ advance.

      Pros

      The pay and benefits are really good; could use a little more vacation time for the people who DON'T have 10 plus years! Very good work/life balance. Most people are very friendly.

      Cons

      There is no real supervision or accountability. I wish the bosses knew some of the stuff that goes on, on a daily basis. Trying really hard to find another job, but it's hard to beat what they have to offer in pay and benefits.
