      first class way of conducting business. very talented people. highly respected company. Rewards competency and excellence. promotes innovation and out of the box thinking.

      Cons

      management is little directionless these days, salary not equivalent to the best in industry. some of the line mangers are real showstoppers.

      A learning experience

      Pros

      4 weeks paid vacation starting your first year at MS. There is a very rich collection of learning materials as part of MS University. Really a fantastic way to learn new products, and skills. Great benefits.

      Cons

      Working environment is hit or miss depending on your manager and VP. There were a lot of managers per person when I was there. Current CEO comes from the retail banking world, and his focus may go there. The retail banking especially MSSB venture is really a problem for the group because they can not cut costs, and the "talent" is costing them over 60% of revenue from the group, compared to investment banking which is costing between 40%-50% of revenue.
