Bureaucratic Good ol' boy system remnants DEI is a bit performative

-Little control over locations of assignments in short-term mobility groups -Base pay, relocation benefits, and COL stipends lower than similar companies -Interactions with management can be very political, and connections within the company can be more important than experience and competence -Unclear paths for upward advancement with few objective metrics for performance -Good aspects of company culture are often lost at the project level, and your overall experience is heavily affected by operating group and project assignments -Inconsistent execution of company-wide programs across projects and operating groups -Bad and underperforming employees almost never get fired on the staff side -Many people coasting by in the company with no desire to further their growth or improve operations -Safety program execution and buy-in can be horrible at individual projects
